Join us on Tuesday, May 2 at 12:00 pm for a friendly, fascinating lunch as acclaimed Montclair author Laurie Lico Albanese discusses her latest novel, Hester — a retelling of the Nathaniel Hawthorne classic The Scarlet Letter, "a bewitching tale of desire and ambition."
Laurie Albanese is the author of three novels and a memoir: Hestor, Stolen Beauty, Blue Suburbia, and Lynelle by the Sea.
Local independent bookstore Watchung Booksellers is partnering with the Women’s Club of Glen Ridge for this event. They will have hardcover copies of Hester available for purchase at the Club. A portion of each book purchase will be donated to the Club. Be sure to mention the Women’s Club if you purchase the book in advance from Watchung Booksellers.
