Founded in 1905, the Women’s Club of Glen Ridge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a welcoming community of 200+ women from Glen Ridge and surrounding areas. Our members are united by a shared commitment to connection, growth, and community service. Through engaging programs, social events, and volunteer initiatives, we’ve been making a positive local impact for over a century.

  • Oversees the Club’s financial health, including annual budgeting and long-term financial planning.

  • Manages the care, upkeep, and beautification of the Club’s outdoor spaces.

  • Maintains the Club’s linens, tableware, and kitchen supplies, and organizes the annual May meeting and celebration.

  • Responsible for the maintenance and preservation of the clubhouse and its furnishings; supervises the custodian.

  • Leads member recruitment, welcomes prospective members, and prepares welcome bags for new Glen Ridge residents.

  • In accordance with Club by-laws, identifies and recommends candidates for the Board of Trustees.

  • Promotes Club events and activities across multiple platforms and ensures a positive public image of the Club.

  • Oversees clubhouse rentals, including policy setting, pricing, and coordination with renters.

  • Gathers, edits, and organizes content for The Signpost, the Club’s quarterly newsletter.

  • Plans and hosts two annual, non-fundraising social events for members and their guests.

  • Organizes fundraising events and initiatives to support the Club’s mission and operations.
