88 Keys for the Next 100 Years
In 1926, Women’s Club President Mrs. Chaffee decided our new clubhouse needed a grand piano and took it upon herself to raise the money. She found creative ways to do it, including creating a crossword puzzle and selling copies for 25 cents each.
One hundred years later, it’s our turn.
In the spirit of Mrs. Chaffee’s creativity, our Piano Restoration Fund is coming soon, with the opportunity to sponsor one of the piano’s 88 keys in your name or in honor or memory of someone special.
Want first choice of a key? Sign up below and we’ll let you know as soon as the fundraiser goes live.
When the campaign is complete, an artistic rendering of the keyboard featuring donors’ names on their sponsored keys will hang in the clubhouse, creating a lasting record of those who helped restore this piece of Club history.
