Legacy Gala 2020 a Night Worth Remembering

The Legacy Gala was held on Saturday, February 29th, and it was a night worth remembering.

Over 200 attendees – club members as well as friends and family from Glen Ridge and the surrounding towns – danced the night away to the music of The Counterfeiters. We were honored to have the mayor of Glen Ridge, the entire town council, and the borough attorney attend with their spouses.

If you needed a break from dancing, you could nosh on appetizers and cocktails before the sit-down dinner. The silent auction and wine pull were available for diversion throughout the evening.

The gala was a fundraising event dedicated to the much needed repairs of the clubhouse’s stage. To that end, the gala raised over $30,000! Approximately $6,500 came from the silent auction and wine pull; over $6,200 from advertisers in the program; $12,000 from sponsors and donors. The advertisers featured in Signpost also get a spot in the gala program. Some of the corporate sponsors and donors included: Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center, The Loyola Foundation, Blue Foundry Bank, the Glen Ridge Historical Society, Glen Ridge Kiwanis, and others.
