Exciting News! We are able to offer a new session for our sold out Mahjong class.
It's trending, popular and fun!
Bring a friend or make a new one as we learn together. We will be learning the traditional Chinese form of the game. Typically, students will be able to learn the basics and play on their own after 4 lessons.
Each lesson, students will learn how to play the game and its strategies, the history and stories behind it, as well as the social implications of the game.
This class will include a copy of our instructor, Dr. Kit Cheung’s, newly published book, "The History, Culture and Everyday Wisdom of Mahjong” which provides a history & detailed instructions on playing this classic game.
Members: $78.50 ($65/session + $13.50 material fee)
Non-Members - $94.50 ($80/session + $14.50 material fee)
Tuesdays, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Class Dates: April 14, 21, 28 & May 5
