Have A Heart Event hosted by the Community Service Department
Please join the Community Service Department at our annual Have a Heart event on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, for a special evening of learning, supporting and community.
This year we will be joined by representatives from Benson Street Garden and Covenant House — two local organizations that are critical to the health of our friends and neighbors. Through their conversations, we will learn how their mission and goals play a critical part in the wellbeing of our community and what we can do to support them.
Covenant House provides services to youth facing homelessness and to human trafficking survivors. Since 1989 this organization has been helping NJ youth through street outreach; food, clothing, and counseling services; and referrals for shelter.
Benson Street Garden is an all-volunteer community garden created and maintained to raise fresh produce to benefit the Human Needs Pantry in Montclair. More than 600 pounds of freshly harvested vegetables are delivered to the Pantry each year.
Catering will again be provided by Matthew’s Restaurant; the food got great reviews last year!
Dinner will be served at 7:00 PM and speakers will begin at 8:00. We look forward to seeing you on February 3.
Members: $25
Non-members: $35
Girls’ Club Members: $20
**Please note that an additional credit card processing fee will be charged
