Join us for our Literature Department's Monthly Meeting: An Author Luncheon with Amy Jo Burns on Tuesday, November 10th.
Amy Jo Burns is the author of the memoir Cinderland and three novels: Shiner, Mercury and Wait for Me. Her books move between memoir and fiction to explore loyalty, longing, and the pull of home. Amy Jo's writing has appeared in Elle, Good Housekeeping, The Paris Review Daily, and the anthology Not That Bad. Mercury was a Barnes & Noble Book Club Pick, a People Magazine Book of the Week, and an Editor’s Choice selection in The New York Times. Wait for Me was the Today Show Read With Jenna pick for March 2026.
There will be a catered lunch by Marcel Kitchen at 12pm, and the program will start at 1pm. During the program, Amy Jo will discuss her writing process for her books and more. Q&A and book signing will follow the program. Watchung Booksellers will be there with copies of her books for purchase.
$25 for members, $35 for non-members.
