Venue Rental

To come see our beautiful space and envision your event in person, please click below and we will contact you as soon as possible to schedule a tour!

  • The Women's Club of Glen Ridge offers two floors of special event space along with an outdoor private patio.

    • The first floor Williamsburg Ballroom can accommodate 200 guests with a dance floor.

    • Also available on the first floor is the Mary Raymond Room, the Patio, and the Parlor Suite.

    • The second floor Georgian Ballroom and Balcony seats up to 80 guests, or 140 guests for a ceremony.

    • The Georgian Ballroom, when used in combination with the Williamsburg Ballroom, can accommodate 250 people.

    • Also available on the second floor are two lounges; the Chapman Room and the Ellie Parker Room.

    There are restrooms and a kitchen on each floor.

  • A Standard Rental is five (5) hours. Doors open for set-up, caterer, etc., three (3) hours before event begins.

    If there is no Club event scheduled the day before the event, the renter and/or caterer may set up during business hours (8:30am – 3:00pm). If you would like a guarantee for the extra set up day please ask.

    Two (2) hours are allotted for cleanup after an event.

  • The Women's Club of Glen Ridge does not have an exclusive caterer; you may use any caterer who meets the following requirements:

    • The caterer must be fully insured and willing to add the Women's Club of Glen Ridge to their insurance policy for the day as an additional insured.

    • The caterer must maintain a current food handling license, as well as general liability, liquor liability and workmen's compensation.

    • The caterer is required to remain on site for the duration of your event. The caterer is responsible for all food preparation, handling and clean-up.

  • The first floor of the clubhouse is handicap accessible via the patio door connected to the Mary Raymond Room. A handicap restroom is also available on the first floor. The second floor is only accessible via a staircase.

  • 1st Floor - Williamsburg Ballroom

    Rental Rate - $3,250 Damage Deposit - $900

    2nd Floor - Georgian Ballroom

    Rental Rate - $2,000 Damage Deposit - $550

    Williamsburg Ballroom and Georgian Ballroom

    Rental Rate - $4,700 Damage Deposit - $1,350

    Rental of the following includes additional space at a reduced rate:

    1st Floor Rental includes option to include the 2nd Floor Kitchen for $200

    1st Floor Rental includes option to include a 2nd Floor ancillary room for $100

    2nd Floor Rental includes the option to include the Mary Raymond Room (1st Floor) for $450

    • The Women's Club of Glen Ridge is pleased to offer a 10% discount for active members of the military.

    • Damage deposits are refunded within 30 days of the event pending inspection of the property.

  • Founded in 1905, we are a center for thought and action for women of the community, in which ideals of education, culture, civics and social services are encouraged and developed. The Club hosts social gatherings, special programs and cultural events throughout the year.

  • Anyone!  You DON’T need to be a resident of Glen Ridge to join. Many of our members are from surrounding towns. We are an intergenerational group who comes from all backgrounds, stay at home mothers, working professionals, artists and lawyers , all are welcome.

  • Absolutely! We hold two member mixers which include prospective members as guests. Most of our events are open to the public with Non-Member rates.  

  • The Women’s Club is one of the rare third places in the US for people to gather. One of the few built exclusively for women! Running a 100 year old Clubhouse takes TLC, your dues go towards operating funds to support the house. You’re also the first to know the fun activities we host. Members receive a discounted rate to events, rentals and classes.

  • Yes, rentals are a big part of our operations. We host showers, weddings and all types of gatherings.  We also offer our space for film and commercial shoots!

  • We print a quarterly SignPost newsletter that is mailed to all members.  We are growing our social media through Facebook and Instagram. Please follow us @WomensClubofGlenRidge.

  • The committees make our Club run.  We are made up of volunteers to lead and support all events and Club operations. Whether you’re honing a new skill or looking for camaraderie over shared experiences, we will meet you where you’re at with your time.
