International Day Of Peace
Each September individuals and organizations around the world celebrate the United Nations' International Day of Peace. Promoting successes big and small, the International Day of Peace broadcasts a global cheer for those who work against conflict.
Now, in the spirit of the International Day of Peace, Fork Films invites you to join hundreds of organizations worldwide as we screen Pray the Devil Back to Hell together this September. In a grassroots screening tour spanning countries and continents, we encourage you to turn down the lights, turn up the volume...and screen for peace.
Join us at the Women's Club of Glen Ridge on Sunday, Sept 20, 2009 for an uplifting and gripping account of a group of brave and visionary women who demanded peace for Liberia, a nation torn to shreds by a decades-old civil war.
