We are pleased to welcome back Katherine Osborne, who directed Motherhood Out Loud for the club, to guide 6 professional actresses through a reading of Steel Magnolias, on Thursday, November 14 at 7:00pm. The well-known play is a comedy-drama about the bond among a group of southern women in northwest Louisiana. Click here to register.
Written by Sarah DeLappe, The Wolves is a modern story of contemporary teenage relationships shown through the joys and sorrows of team sports, and the complexity of being a girl today. Ms. DeLappe’s play was a finalist for the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The Wolves will be presented in January 2020.
The Drama Department hosts a once-a-year, drama-related monthly program. A recent program featured
a behind-the-scenes look at staging a Broadway show from pre-production, through the first rehearsal to
opening night and beyond.
